Not Financial Advice
Piggyback Trader Effective date: August 3, 2026 Last updated: July 13, 2026
Read this before you use Piggyback Trader.
Piggyback Trader is an information and alerting service. It is not a financial advisor, a broker, a dealer, an exchange, a fiduciary, or an investment adviser. It does not know your financial situation, your risk tolerance, your tax situation, your investment goals, or your legal jurisdiction. It cannot and does not give personalized advice.
Everything you see in the Service — every alert, every dashboard, every chart, every timestamp, every notification — is for informational purposes only. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, trade, bet on, or take any position in any security, cryptocurrency, prediction market contract, commodity, derivative, or asset of any kind.
If you make a trading, betting, or financial decision based on the Service, that decision is entirely yours. You accept full responsibility for it, its outcome, and any losses that may follow.
1. What the Service does
Piggyback Trader watches publicly available market data from third-party sources — including but not limited to Polymarket, Kalshi, cryptocurrency exchanges, and equity data providers — and surfaces size-driven trading events that meet configurable thresholds. Examples of what we surface:
- Order-book "sweeps" on cryptocurrency exchanges above a user-set dollar threshold
- Large concentrated bets on prediction market contracts
- Block prints on equities above a user-set notional
- Time-clustered activity that historical patterns have preceded news events
The Service reports what happened, timestamped, in a format that lets you decide what to do about it. That is the full scope of what we do.
2. What the Service is NOT
The Service is not:
- A registered investment adviser. Piggyback Trader LLC is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, any state securities regulator, or any equivalent regulator in any jurisdiction.
- A broker-dealer. We do not accept orders, execute trades, or hold customer funds.
- A commodity trading advisor or introducing broker. We do not advise on futures, options, or derivatives.
- A fiduciary. We owe you no fiduciary duty of loyalty or care.
- A signal service that predicts outcomes. Alerts describe activity that has already occurred in a public market. They are not predictions.
- A guarantee of profit, timing, accuracy, or completeness. Alerts may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, missed, or wrong. Market data providers may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
- A recommendation to trade on any specific alert. Whether to act, when, and how, is your decision alone.
[LAWYER REVIEW] Registrations differ by state and by activity. Confirm that the way we describe our alerts (as reports of past public activity, not predictions or recommendations) is legally consistent with a non-registered informational-service posture. Some states may still apply their own rules to any commentary about markets.
3. Risks you accept when you use the Service
By using the Service, you understand and accept the following:
3.1 Markets are risky. All of them.
Cryptocurrencies, equities, options, futures, prediction markets, and derivatives are volatile and speculative. You can lose part or all of your money. In some products, you can lose more than you deposited. Historical performance is not indicative of future results.
3.2 Prediction markets are legally complex.
Prediction markets, including Polymarket and Kalshi, are not legal or available in every US state or every country. Kalshi is regulated by the CFTC in the United States. Polymarket is not a US-regulated exchange, and US users have historically been restricted from using it. Your access to any prediction market is your responsibility to verify under your local law.
3.3 The people who trade first sometimes have information you don't.
Piggyback Trader surfaces trading activity that may reflect information advantages, insider knowledge, coordinated activity, or manipulation. We do not, and cannot, distinguish between these categories in real time. Acting on a Piggyback Trader alert without independent analysis may expose you to:
- Trades that were placed by parties with material non-public information (which may itself be illegal in some contexts, even for a third party who trades on the same public signal)
- Coordinated pump-and-dump activity
- Erroneous data feeds or misidentified events
- Spoofing, layering, or other market manipulation
3.4 Data can be wrong.
Third-party market data providers make mistakes. Feeds go down. Timestamps drift. Exchange APIs return incomplete data. The Service can only be as accurate as the sources it depends on.
3.5 Alerts can be late.
We aim for real-time delivery. We do not guarantee it. Network latency, provider outages, and system maintenance can and will delay alerts.
3.6 Alerts can miss things.
We aim to catch every event that meets your thresholds. We do not guarantee it. Detection windows, provider outages, or configuration edge cases can and will cause missed events.
[LAWYER REVIEW] The insider-knowledge / third-party-acting-on-signal language above is intentionally frank about a real legal gray zone (see Van Dyke/Polymarket/Venezuela case). Verify this language does not increase our own exposure while still warning users. Some attorneys may prefer softer wording.
4. You are responsible for your own decisions
Before making any financial decision based on information from the Service, you should:
- Consult a licensed financial advisor who understands your personal situation
- Consult a tax advisor about the tax consequences of any trading, betting, or investment
- Consult an attorney about the legality of any activity in your jurisdiction
- Do your own research — do not rely on the Service alone
- Only risk money you can afford to lose completely
Nothing on the Service, in our emails, in our marketing, or in any communication from Piggyback Trader replaces professional advice from someone who knows your specific situation.
5. No fiduciary relationship
Your use of the Service does not create a fiduciary, advisory, or agency relationship between you and Piggyback Trader LLC. We are a software provider. Nothing more.
6. Marketing and content
From time to time, we may publish content — including blog posts, social media, videos, newsletters, and product notifications — that describes past market events, patterns, or example scenarios (including the widely reported January 2026 Polymarket / Venezuela case). This content is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a recommendation. It is not a prediction. It is a description of what happened in a public market, with sources.
7. Not an offer
Nothing on the Service, in our marketing, or in any communication from Piggyback Trader constitutes an offer, solicitation, or invitation to buy or sell any security, cryptocurrency, prediction market contract, or other financial product in any jurisdiction where such offer, solicitation, or invitation would be unlawful.
8. Jurisdictional limits
The Service is operated from the United States. It is intended for use by adults in jurisdictions where its content and functionality are legal. You are responsible for determining whether your use of the Service is legal in your jurisdiction. If it is not, you must not use the Service.
[LAWYER REVIEW] Consider whether specific state-level restrictions (e.g., NY, WA) require geographic gating.
9. Changes
We may update this notice at any time. Material changes will be announced with at least 14 days' notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
10. Questions
If any of this is unclear, do not use the Service until it is. Email support@piggyback-trader.com with questions before you rely on anything you see on Piggyback Trader.
